Sunlit mountain peaks along the Rocky Mountain Front Range

Equine PEMF for the Quarter Horse show circuit

Keep your horse feeling good from the first go to the last class.

Rocky Mountain Pulse brings quiet, drug-free PEMF recovery sessions to your stall at Quarter Horse shows across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Booking opens January 2027.

Show week

A show week asks a lot of a horse.

Hours in the trailer. A stall instead of a pasture. Ground that changes from pen to pen. Warm-ups, classes and schooling, sometimes with only an hour or two to rest between rides.

Your horse

Tight by the weekend

A horse that warmed up loose on Tuesday can feel stiff, short-strided or sour by Saturday.

You

Months of work on the line

You have put in the training, the hauling and the entry fees. Watching your horse lose its edge late in the week is hard to take.

What is fair

They give everything in the pen

A horse that works that hard for you deserves real recovery between rides, right where it is stalled.

Who we are

We have stood at the in-gate too.

Our daughter shows Quarter Horses, and our family has been around horses our whole lives. We know the early mornings, the long days in the barn aisle, and how much a good week depends on how your horse feels.

That is why we started Rocky Mountain Pulse: to bring the recovery we wanted for our own horses to the stalls of the people we show alongside — ringside at Front Range shows and at the barn.

  • Certified operators on high-power PEMF equipment
  • Drug-free sessions, with nothing given to your horse
  • Works alongside your veterinarian's care, never in place of it
  • Scheduled around your class times, at your stall

The goal is simple: a horse that feels as good on Saturday as it did on Tuesday.

How it works

Recovery on show week, in three steps.

  1. Find your show

Check our 2027 show schedule to see which Quarter Horse shows we will be working.

  2. Book ahead

Reserve your horse's sessions around your class times before you haul in, so your spot is held.

  3. We come to your stall

Your horse relaxes in familiar surroundings while you get ready for your next class.

Pricing and show packages will be announced at launch in January 2027.

At the show

What a session looks like.

30 to 45 minutes

Full-body session

A coil moves over your horse's neck, shoulders, back, hips and legs while it stands quietly in the stall.

Your schedule

Timed to your classes

Before a warm-up, between classes, or at the end of a long day. You choose what works for your horse.

Trainers

Your whole string, one booking

Book several horses at once and keep their sessions on one schedule and one invoice.

Relaxed in the stall. Loose in the warm-up pen. Ready when the gate opens.

Questions

New to PEMF?

Here are the questions we hear most. There is more on ourWhat is PEMF page.

What is PEMF?

PEMF stands for pulsed electromagnetic field. A coil placed on your horse sends gentle magnetic pulses into the muscles and tissue. Most horses stand quietly and relax during a session.

Is anything given to my horse?

No. Nothing is injected, fed or applied to the skin. A session is drug-free, and it fits alongside the care your veterinarian already provides.
